Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows Rose Review & Swatches

Welcome to my second Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows blog post! Told you it wouldn't take long.

I was eyeing the Fenty Snap Shadow in Rose for a few weeks, and when my friend told me she was interested in getting a Fenty eyeshadow palette for herself, I immediately asked if she would like to buy them together.

P.S. Sephora is also selling 2 Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows at $70 with the code SGFENTYSNAP, so grab a girlie and purchase 1 each palette each!

Here's how the Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows in Rose looks like. It has 3 matte shades, 2 shimmer shades, and 1 glitter shade.

The Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows in Rose is the palette with a number 4 on it, and it is available for purchase at Sephora for $39.

And now, let's jump right into the shades!

Sleepova

The first shade on the Fenty Beauty Rose palette is Sleepova. When I first swatched it on my hand, it wasn't very pigmented and needed a bit of work to get onto my skin. About three hard swatches layer, the light-medium pink shade finally started showing.

This shade is the lightest on the palette and has a matte finish. It's also probably one of the most versatile shades since it's pretty basic and can be worn anywhere, anytime. The formula for this matte shade is also very smooth and lasts for about 6 hours before fading.

Lil Miss

If Sleepova was too subtle for you, Lil Miss would add a bang to your look with its brighter, dark berry tone. The texture was smooth but quite thin, just like Sleepova. Two layers would do the trick for perfect full coverage.

Overall, Lil Miss is quite a loud colour so I'm thankful it's not a shimmer/ glitter shade.

Stunt Queen

Stunt Queen is a beautiful, versatile shade that works with a girly or smoky eye look. The shimmer shade is a lot more shimmery on the hand than in the pan, and you can see some reddish undertones with flecks of pink and gold sparkle.

Consistency wise it was pretty smooth, but was rather difficult to blend out. However, I do think this shade is GORGEOUS, especially for those of you who are into brick-reds.

$ugashock

We're now ditchin' that soft pink and moving on to deeper shades such as $ugashock. The $ugashock shade sports a darker, muted pink and has a beautiful frosted finish.

This shade really shook me because it's super, super pigmented and you can obviously see the effect with a single swatch. The formula is also much thicker than the rest, and the shimmer was blinding AF.

Spice Trip

Another beautiful shade was Spice Trip, a muted medium-dark brown with rosy undertones. I absolutely loved how the matte gave this shade a somewhat velvety look to it. Spice Trip was really easy to apply and blended easily too.

I have light skin, so this shade was pretty dark on me. This shade would definitely look very natural and blend a lot better for girls with tanner skin. #jealous

Diva Feva

Now for the ONLY glitter shade - Diva Feva!

Diva Feva is a medium-dark, coppery red base with glitter. And since this is a glitter shade and not just a shimmer shade, there's much more glam and sparkle in this one.

Texture wise, you can obviously feel the glitter on your skin when you swatch, and it kinda "packs" into one place without spreading evenly - but it's not a major problem. This shade also produced a fair amount of fallout.

If you want the glitter to really pop, pick the pigment up with a brush and sprinkle some setting spray before adding it onto your eyelids. You'll see the difference!

After getting 2 palettes from Fenty Beauty and having tried both of them, I'd say that I still prefer the True Neutrals palette over the Rose palette. Overall, I feel that the shades on the True Neutrals palette have more pigment and apply easier.

But I do adore the colours on the Rose palette and I can't wait for the occasion to use them. I'll probably need to dress up a little bit when I use this palette and ditch my leather jackets for floral prints, but it's good to switch up for a chance.

Till then, see you next post!
