Dorra Slimming Bye Bye Fat Treatment: Honest Review!
Dorra Slimming Bye Bye Fat Treatment Review
Hello everyone! Hope 2021 has been treating you well, and today I’ll be sharing another slimming review post! So after signing up for a treatment package with Dorra Slimming @ Plaza Singapura last year, I actually wrote a blog post about my experience. Long story short - I was rather disheartened because I didn’t see the results I was hoping for, and because of that Dorra actually reached out to me again, and asked me if I could give their treatments another chance.
Honestly, I had nothing to lose, so why not? I told them I was willing to give the new treatment a try and write about the results after everything was done. I also relayed to them one request, which was that I didn’t want to be “hard-selled” to at ANY point throughout the treatment. Both parties also agreed that regardless of how the treatment turns out, whatever I write here about the experience will be 100% honest and true!
My previous Dorra package was a body-shaping treatment where they wrapped you up with cling wrap and laid you down in this capsule machine. This time, they offered to give me 10 sessions of the Bye Bye Fat Treatment. I was slightly happier with this treatment because compared to the previous one where I’m just lying there for 20 minutes, this one actually required some manual labour!
Bye Bye Fat Treatment experience
I’ve been a frequent customer of Dorra, so I was prepared for what was coming. First, you would get your weight and body measurements, as well as photos of your body taken. Not really a fan of this, but it is a slimming company and how else would they be able to track progress? So I let them take my measurements, and apparently, according to the weighing machine, my body was that of a 30-year-old. Much ouch.
Now onto the Bye Bye Fat Treatment! Truth be told, I was not prepared for what was to come. If you’ve ever signed up for the Dorra trial, you would have experienced this. It’s basically like a cellulite massage where they lather serum on your body and use a machine to massage a part of your body. I chose to slim my thighs because they’re the thickest part of my body and it’s as fat as an elephant’s – especially my inner thighs, good grief!
And oh my GOD, the treatment hurt, especially on the first try. The pain happens because cellulite is apparently hard, so when they’re massaging it, they’re literally trying to break it down. The areas they massaged were my inner thighs, outer thighs, back of the thigh and the area behind the knees, and this part hurt SO much when I first started out the treatment.
But just to assure you, this is completely normal, and even I know it because I’ve tried several other cellulite-removal massages aside from this one (like those from massage parlours and spas). The more cellulite you have, the more it would hurt. I can’t remember how many times I wailed “PAIN!!” to my poor beautician, even when she was already putting the least amount of force. Then again, I know I have a very low pain tolerance compared to other people.
The good news is that the pain does decrease after a while. Each session lasts about 20 minutes ++, which is about 10 minutes per leg. Seems short right? But trust me, it’s good enough. About 5 minutes in per leg, the pain slowly dissipates and the aching feeling disappears, and all you can feel is this pleasant pressure that will make you fall asleep. As the sessions went by the pain actually decreased more and more, and by my 7th treatment, there was no longer any pain.
After the treatment, it’s normal to have some bruises. I didn’t have a lot because my skin is so incredibly thick (LOL), but I did get a light bruise on two occasions. But don’t worry, they typically last only a few days.
Bye Bye Fat Treatment results
So here’s the big question: did my legs get slimmer after one treatment? Visibly, there was no difference. But according to the measurements, there was about a 4cm difference before and after the Bye Bye Fat Treatment.
I appreciate that Dorra took the feedback from my previous treatment into consideration, which was the one where I mentioned that they only measured my body before, and not after. After each treatment, they made sure to measure my thighs each time and show me the results. I actually slimmed down an average of 4cm each treatment, although each time I return for the treatment, my “before” measurement does fluctuate.
Visually there is some improvement. Although it’s not enough to turn me from fat to fab, improvement is better than no improvement. People actually started noticing that my legs and butt were more toned after the 3rd treatment, and there were less stretch marks at my back thigh. As my treatment progressed, my body also started to reflect some improvements through the weighing machine at Dorra. Now I’m no longer “30 years old” but 26! YAY!
I wish that I could have attended sessions more regularly (e.g. once or twice a week) instead of once every two weeks. I think that might have improved the results.
I also took some before and after pictures for my own reference, and for you guys to decide if there’s any difference!
The main observations would be that the inner thigh has definitely become slimmer since the first treatment, and my hips are not as wide as before.
Also, the last I measured my thighs by myself (which was today), my final measurement was 50.4cm for my upper left thigh (originally 58 cm) and 51.3cm for my upper right thigh (originally 59cm). So yes, there is a difference from the first treatment!
However, I must mention that I have been going to the gym much more in 2021, and I’ve also been attending tennis lessons once a week over the past half a year. This could be a mediating factor in my fat-loss progress, but I do believe two is better than one, and if you can lose fat through more than one method, why not? I do believe both exercising and the treatment contributed to my overall progress, as my exercise targeted my overall body strength, stamina and abs area, and the Bye Bye Fat treatment as well as my tennis lessons targeted my legs and thighs.
So…final thoughts?
I guess I was much happier this time compared to my first experience with Dorra, and I really appreciate them reaching out to me to offer me a second try. Also, kudos for taking my feedback into consideration! I do respect a brand that takes its customer feedback seriously and takes steps into improving itself. I know that for many customers like me, hard-selling is one of the major concerns and turn-offs we have when it comes to registering for beauty services. I wasn’t hard-selled to even once this time around, although my beautician did try promoting some products here and there BUT it was all bearable and she never pushed further when I said I wasn’t interested.
My only advice is that if you ever dislike something e.g. hard-selling, you can always just make it known to them. Like I’ve mentioned previously and will mention again, the staff I met at Dorra are actually really nice. I didn’t mention this in my previous post, but you can also deliver feedback through Dorra’s WeCare system right after each session to ensure instant feedback. So feel free to pin down your thoughts if you’ve ever encountered any unsatisfactory service!
So yes, final thoughts: I think there was some slight improvement, and while ten sessions definitely won’t transform you into a supermodel, this treatment may be suitable for some people especially in the long-term. I also think that it’s always good to pair slimming treatments with exercise for faster results, but if you’re lazy and got the cash to spare, you can always just sign up for this treatment instead.
Thanks all for reading, and see you next post!

I have unwanted flabby skin on my tummy from my children! I’ve used Cellulite reduction dermalmd serum three days now and notice a huge difference in the appearance of my skin already. I started using it on my leg/hip/butt area, the tough saddle bag area, noticeably firmer skin and the cellulite is not as noticeable!!
