Hey, Faithfuls! So I finally made it to Swee Lee Clarke Quay, a cafe I’ve been dying to visit ever since it opened! It’s usually packed, but I managed to snag a spot for lunch last Sunday. Located in a historic warehouse in Clarke Quay's Block B, this isn’t just any cafe—Swee Lee Clarke Quay is also a music lover’s haven.

It’s home to an artist lounge, creator corner, and vinyl listening stations, along with a versatile space called The Great Hall that hosts open mic nights, live DJ performances, and even private events. Plus, they're work-friendly, too, with tables that come with power plugs.

The vibe here is perfect for music enthusiasts. You’ll find everything from guitars and audio equipment to a vinyl library of over 500 records curated by NME. If you’re a Swee Lee Rewards member, you get a free hour of vinyl listening per day with any purchase. Non-members can also enjoy the experience for S$10 an hour with any purchase, whether it’s a retail item or something from the cafe and bar.

Speaking of the cafe, the menu features an all-day selection of toasties and brunch items.

I tried the Carbonara (S$16), which came loaded with parmesan cheese, ham, and mushrooms. It was super creamy and filling—just the way I like it.

I also ordered the Spinach + Cheese Toastie (S$15), made with sourdough packed with spinach and gooey melted cheese. It was served with a side of house-made marinara sauce and was definitely my favourite dish of the day.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist the Apple Pie (S$15). It featured fresh waffles topped with stewed cinnamon apples, caramel drizzle, and crunchy toasted walnuts. The combination was a delightful mix of sweet and spicy, with the waffles providing the perfect base.

Of course, I had to sample their drinks too! I went for the Hibiscus Coffee (S$8), which is infused with hibiscus and osmanthus oolong and paired with cold brew coffee. It was surprisingly refreshing.

Although I’m not a fan of mint, I took a chance on the Minty Matcha (S$9) because it sounded so unique. It featured thick house-made matcha cream layered with mint chocolate and smooth oat milk. To my surprise, I absolutely loved it! The flavours blended together perfectly without the mint overpowering the matcha.

If you’re planning a visit, don’t miss out on the 15% discount available until 31 March 2025—just show them this post! Swee Lee Clarke Quay is definitely worth a visit, whether you’re a music lover, foodie, or both.
