If you need some inspiration for what to do, nothing beats and good ol' staycation. With that, here's a compilation of the five best staycations for couples in Singapore according to yours truly.

The Outpost Hotel is an adults-only hotel (wonder what that means ;)) and makes it the perfect place for couples looking for a romantic getaway. It's also located at Sentosa, so you can expect your room to have a gorgeous view!

The rooms here are really nice with a minimalist vibe and floor-to-ceiling windows, and the beds are super comfy! My most favorite thing about The Outpost Hotel is its numerous swimming pools overlooking the sea. They also have an infinity pool on their rooftop bar.

I also like how the hotel is very quiet and peaceful since you won't see any kids running around. Staying here really feels like you're whisked off to a serene vacation island!

If you have money to spend, The Fullerton Bay Hotel is a must-stay. C'mon - living in a lavish hotel room with a panoramic view of the Singapore River? Who doesn't want that!

The rooms are very modern-looking, spacious, and have a shit ton of amenities that you can enjoy. If you stay in a suite, it's also extremely spacious.

The only downside to staying here is that it can rather crowded, no matter what day you stay. So if you're hoping to get some romantic, quiet time by the pool... good luck, cos you're probably just going to get irritated by all the kids and other couples hogging the jacuzzi. The safe distancing measures here were not the best when I stayed here as well.

If you really don't mind spending the money, get a room with a private jacuzzi room and you'll get to suntan and snuggle with bae without any disturbances all day.

The Westin Singapore has to be one of my favorite staycations so far. The rooms sport a view overlooking the CBD, and the hotel has great facilities such as a whirlpool jacuzzi, sauna, and gorgeous infinity pool. Usually enjoying such luxuries may require an additional charge, but we got to enjoy all these for free!

One of my favourite part of their rooms is the bathtub with a view. You can literally soak all day and watch people from the opposite office go about their day. Creepy, yet fascinating.

The food here at The Westin Singapore is also really good, especially their breakfast buffet. It's really damn good, solid AF food. And you get a lot of privacy staying here as well - on weekdays there is hardly anybody and you don't even need to book a slot for the pool or gym.

The Westin Singapore is also a good hotel to go to if you're hoping to get a free upgrade, especially if you're a HoteLux or Mariott Bonvoy member. Simply mention during your booking that you're celebrating a special occasion and would like to have something nice prepared as a surprise for your other half, and they may offer you an upgrade!

If you want a nice staycation that won't blow a hole in your pocket, M Social is a good choice. Their unique loft rooms are super cosy and dimly lit, making it a really romantic love nest. The facilities and amenities are simple but ample as well.

If you book your stay on platforms such as Klook, you may also get to enjoy cool couple workshops such as the cocktail workshop my boyfriend and I attended for free. Some deals also include dining vouchers which you can use at the restaurant Beast & Butterflies which has super delicious food.

I saved the best for last because staying at The St. Regis Singapore was really, really nice and the best staycation I had. Besides having a complimentary upgrade to their Caroline Astor Suite, we also had lots of free tidbits, perks such as butler service and grocery service, and many more benefits.

Favourite part of the suite? The bathroom. It was full marble and looked extremely expensive. There's even a small TV that you can watch while enjoying your bubble bath.

The hotel looks rather obiang, but it also exudes a certain fanciness and luxury to it that makes any couple staying here feel like royalty. And that's also thanks to their top-notch service where you can really feel that the staff serves from the heart.
