4Play Review: Private Game Rooms For Couples @ Farrer Park
There are many different rooms here, from ones that are suitable for couples, to larger ones for friend groups. Prices start from about S$16 per hour.
Did I also mention that they have a 5-star rating on Google??
4Play is quite hard to locate though, as the entrance is quite obscure. It's hidden behind one of the kopitiams in the area. Once you find the entrance, you gotta walk up some stairs and find yourself in a chill lounge area that's quite aesthetic. The staff will be waiting at the door for you to give them your booking confirmation number, and then they'll bring you to your room.
If you're part of a couple, you can consider the most affordable room, which is the Compact Room. Priced from S$49 for three hours, it's cute, it's cosy, and it's dimly lit for those *romantic vibes*.
There are also charging cables for those of you who like to leave your home with a phone that's dying.
Plus, there are no CCTVs in the private rooms. Do note that the rooms are not soundproof though––just a note for those who are thinking of doing the hanky panky here. Don't be nasty okay, other people still need to use the room after you.
In the Deluxe Room, you can watch Netflix, play board games and card games, nap, or just chill.
Then we have the Deluxe Room. These rooms come with extra space and a spacious sofa. They come in different themes too! I booked the Nebula room, which was space-themed. Our room had a huge sofa too so we had a lot of space to lie about.
It also comes with PlayStation consoles and a TV for Netflix-ing. Prices for the Deluxe Room start from S$89 for three hours.
For the PlayStation, you gotta ask the staff for the game disc and they'll pass it to you.
The largest room is the VIP Room. It fits up to six people and starts from S$109 for three hours. It offers everything that the Deluxe Room offers, as well as dine-in experiences. I guess that means you can have a meal here??
FYI, each booking also gives you access to the snack bar, where you can nibble on Korean and Japanese snacks for FREE. Drinks do come at an extra cost though.
Another plus is that 4Play takes cleanliness and hygiene quite seriously here. With regular cleaning and sanitisation of the rooms, you can kick back and relax knowing that they've got rid of those nasty germs.
4Play also has toilets here BTW, and they're pretty clean. Feel free to use them if you suddenly need to pee while playing FIFA.
I do think that the prices here are quite affordable, and the rooms are super vibey so I highly recommend it to couples who are looking for a place to have a chill date. Daycations are overrated, right? At least at 4Play, you get to actually play and do something a little different.
That's all for today's review, see you next post!
