The Cat Cafe Review: Affordable Singapore Cat Cafe With Rehomed Cats @ Bugis
The Cat Cafe has two outlets. For a more laid-back experience, head to their Bugis outlet, where the resident cats are older (8 to 15 years old) and generally more relaxed. If you're in the mood for playful antics, visit their Rail Mall outlet, home to active cats aged 3 to 6 years old.
One thing I love about The Cat Cafe is their mission—all their cats are adopted or re-homed strays!
Entry is S$22 for the first two hours, which includes one complimentary soft drink.
There are proper seats with tables for a more traditional cafe vibe, or you can opt to sit on the floor with low tables if that’s your style.
The cats here can get quite sleepy during the late afternoon, which I don't mind, but you may be disappointed if you were hoping for more energy from the adorable felines.
Beyond the cats, the cafe also offers a decent selection of food and drinks. There's coffee too, including lattes and Americanos. For something more filling, they serve mains like Chicken Mushroom Pie, Lasagna, and Baked Macaroni. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ll find options like cakes, brownies, affogato, and vanilla ice cream.
I had quite a good time here, and yes, The Cat Cafe can get quite crowded during peak hours, particularly on weekends, but I enjoyed my quality time with the cats. If you'd like, you can also make a reservation online.
Visit The Cat Cafe in Bugis if you're in the area and say hi to Butter, Brownie, or Pudding for me! Thanks for reading, and see you next post.
