There were also many pink angel wings decorations in the cafe so you can channel your inner Victoria's Secret Angel! Some of the seats also came with angel wing backdrops so it looks like you had your own special pair of wings. There was also one wall which was entirely covered in pink hearts!

Another part of the cafe that caught my eye was this giant gift box coffin inspired by Squid Game. On top of it were also pink guns with Squid Game symbols on them so you can strike a pose and pretend that you're one of the guards.

Brown Butter's Squid Game challenge is only available from 12pm-6pm on weekdays from now until 24 October 2021. Customers have three options - a circle, a star, or a heart - and if you successfully complete the challenge within the specified time limit, you can a free latte.

Now let's start on the food review!

I ordered the Cream of Chicken (S$22) which had sugar waffles, chicken stroganoff, thyme, and mixed herbs. I loved the sugar waffles and they surprisingly went well with the savoury chicken which was very creamy. Unfortunately, I thought some of the chicken pieces were a bit too salty. The Cream of Chicken came in a generous portion and was very filling. However, it could be a bit jelak as well.

My boyfriend got the Unagi Tamago (S$19) with unagi, scrambled eggs, smashed avocado, furikake, and sourdough. It had a perfect blend of different tastes from the sweetness of the unagi, creaminess of the avocado, and the savouriness of the eggs. The dish's entire texture was soft and light and the flavour was incredibly addictive.

One of their most interesting desserts is their cheesecakes which look like they came out of the Tom & Jerry cartoon! Besides looking like cartoon cheese, they also came with cupid wings. At S$14.90 each, the cheesecakes come in flavours like lychee rose and yam, and also entitles you to a love lock that you can bring home as a souvenir.

Another gorgeous-looking dessert was the Love Misu (S$18.90) which was a matcha-tiramisu cake with an Eiffel Tower topping!

Brown Butter has also launched their Fall 2021 Omakase Dessert Bento (S$38) which comes with nine sweet omakase treats.

For drinks, we got an Iced Latte (S$6.90) and a Messy Mocha Latte (S$8.90). The Messy Mocha Latte tasted as good as it looked, and it was absolutely Instagrammable! It was also really thick, gooey, and strong.

You can also try their other photogenic drinks such as their OTT Smoothies at S$10.90 with flavours such as avocado and beetroot. According to reviews, their drinks are very slushy, not too sweet, and easy to drink.

Another interesting milkshake was the Jelly Shakes (S$16.90) with flavours such as rose jelly and yam. Not only do they look pretty, but they taste good too and are sure to fill you up.

I was very surprised because I liked my experience at Brown Butter a lot more than I would have expected. I initially thought that Brown Butter would be one of those cafes that only looked pretty with mediocre food, but the food is rather decent. I also appreciate their creative recipes and concepts and can totally understand the cafe's appeal. The prices here are not the most affordable, but I will shut one eye because they are filling, taste good, and look so aesthetic!

I may have just visited Brown Butter a few days ago, but I'm already making plans to visit them again with my girlfriends.
