Dream Cruises Review: Cruise To Nowhere Itinerary (Part 2)

by - July 22, 2021

Hey friends, welcome to part 2 of this Dream Cruises (World Dream) Cruise To Nowhere itinerary blog review! In today's post, I will cover what my boyfriend and I did on day 3 and day 4 of the cruise, and at the end, I will also list down our total expenses. Day 3 was really packed from what I remember and we really tried our best to fit in as many things as we could since it was the last full day on Dream Cruise. We also spent the most money on this day as well!

Dream Cruises Itinerary

On day 3 we did almost a bit of everything, from outdoor activities to shopping, watching shows, and even a little bit of Bingo!

Dream Cruises Itinerary Day 3

8.30am: Rope course

dream-cruises-rope-course
My boyfriend and I woke up early in the morning - and even skipped breakfast - just to queue to play the Rope Course. I reluctantly agreed to go with him even though I am terrified of heights. We actually tried numerous times to play this free Rope Course but it was always full of people, or the weather was too hot to play, so the staff encouraged us to try coming early in the morning!

So the story is that I went up the course with my boyfriend, and he went first. I was next to go and once I put my leg out, I knew immediately that there was no way in hell I was doing this, so I went back down. Yes, I know, I'm a loser.

And FYI, one part of the Rope Course actually includes a zipline that is 18 decks above the ocean and is suspended over water. Even my boyfriend who is an adrenaline junkie told me that he was scared shitless while ziplining. Apparently, the Rope Course is not very easy too! If you want to try, be my guest!

10am: Lobby Cafe

Lobby Cafe is located at Deck 6 in front of the big screen where people play Bingo, and it has one of the best coffees onboard although sometimes hit or miss. It's also a good place to just chill and watch whatever game is going on in front of the giant screen. They also sell delicious S$8 laksa which is really worth a try.

11.30am: Lunch @ Dream Room Dining (Upper)

So we didn't get to try the free Chinese restaurant during the previous two days because Chinese food is apparently more popular on deck (because of all the Chinese aunties), and also because Dream Room Dining (Upper) is smaller than Dream Room Dining (Lower), which is where the Western food is. We finally got to try it today!

Now I thought the food was great! We had soup, fish curry, tofu, and green veggies - and while everything looked simple, the taste was better than expected. It really feels like you're dining in an actual Chinese restaurant.

12.30pm: Dream Boutique

dream-cruises-shopping
After our tummies were happy, we went to Dream Boutique to do some shopping! I really regret not bringing enough money to splurge because the makeup deals here are great! I have been wanting to buy a specific Dior lip gloss for the longest time and managed to buy it here for about 30% off. I also bought a cute and classy Tommy Hilfiger scarf at S$0 which was half-price!

3pm: Zouk Beach Club

I was really excited to see the Zouk Beach Club because I heard that the jacuzzis here were gorgeous, and it's true! And while this used to be a full-on day club pre-Covid, it's now a quiet place to hang out and soak in the jacuzzi.

The clouds actually turned grey when it was our turn to use the jacuzzi and I was quite disheartened, but one of the staff told my boyfriend that the captain of the ship was steering the boat away from the clouds so everyone could enjoy the sun!

Thanks to the captain, we managed to get gorgeous pictures!

4.30pm: Twice As Nice

So we just missed another show and we walking sadly back to our rooms when we walked past the Zodiac Theatre (which was where we watched the magic show yesterday), and the staff said they had a few more seats to Twice As Nice. We had no idea what the show was about, but decided to join anyway!

Turns out it was a live singing show, and the duo covered many movie soundtracks such as 'My Heart Will Go On' and 'A Thousand Years'. It was actually pretty enjoyable!

7pm: Dinner @ Dream Room Dining (Lower)

We couldn't make a reservation for the Chinese food again, so we went to get Western food. Tonight's dinner was spectacular, and I would say it was one of the best meals I had on the cruise! I ordered the duck and my boyfriend had pork, and everything was so beautifully cooked. The salad was very appetizing as well.

We also ordered lots of wine!

10pm: Bingo

We queued to buy our Bingo ticket around 9.30pm to get ready for the Bingo game at 10pm. I was soooooo tipsy at this point that I honestly have no idea what was happening. All I know is that I didn't win (of course) and that I cried after the game. Honestly, playing Bingo is all about the experience and you're basically there to donate your S$30!

After the game, I headed back to my room to binge on movies and my boyfriend went to watch Euro with his friends at the place with the big screen.

Dream Cruise Itinerary Day 4

6am: Breakfast @ Dream Room Dining (Upper)

Super hungover me waddled down to Dream Room Dining (Upper) for breakfast, and you know how soup is often the best hangover cure! Breakfast really made my stomach feel better thanks to the Pickled Lettuce with Chicken Congee and Steam Dried Shrimps with Vegetables Bao.

9am: Bill settlement

In case you didn't know, the payment system on Dream Cruise is like the payment system at Marche restaurant - they give you a card (in the case of the cruise it's our room key card) and whatever you buy, you tap the card and the transaction is recorded and you make payment at the end before you leave.

We settled all our bills before checking out by using the Quick Pay - Self Checkout function on the Dream Cruise app. All our expenses throughout the trip were recorded online so we had a full record of it. You can pay with your credit or debit card.

Here is a list of my expenses for the whole trip:

  • Beverage package: S$138
  • Casino: S$50
  • Dream Boutique: S$91.98
  • Esc EXPERIENCE LAB: S$22
  • Gratuities: S$123
  • Hot Pot: S$43.07
  • Lobby Cafe: S$4
  • Umi Uma: S$102.40
  • WiFi: S$10

Total expense: S$584.45

9.40am: Check-out

Check-out is according to the deck, so those of us on Deck 12 departed at 9.40am according to the schedule. Check-out was much faster than check-in as we already settled payment and didn't have to return anything except for our TRACEY token. We were all out by 10am!

Cruise To Nowhere Itinerary (Part 2)

We had such a great time during the whole three days on the cruise! Rule of thumb - always book your activities and restaurants (even the free ones) whenever you can if not you may miss out on many experiences! I honestly think a cruise is way more fun than going on a staycation, and even much more worth it as you almost spend the same amount on the rooms and even on food. Plus, activities on the cruise are mostly free!

Would definitely come again and hopefully, you guys going on Dream Cruise will enjoy it as much as I did. Thanks for reading and see you next post!
