Hey, Faithfuls! So, I gotta tell you about this amazing place I recently checked out, which is Tipo Pasta Bar. If you're a pasta lover like me, you've probably heard about it. It used to be on North Bridge Road, but now they've moved to this bigger spot on Aliwal Street. And let me tell you, that move was a smart move because it was tough to get a reservation at their old tiny place.

When I walked in, I was greeted by this cool setup of the day's pasta choices. They had these fancy names like Radiatori, Mafalde, and Fusilli. It felt like picking a wine from a fancy collection. I was super curious to see if the food would match up to the vibe they were giving.

Now, about the place itself—think pastel pink and turquoise walls, big windows, and these cool hanging lights. It was totally Instagram-worthy. The place had a good number of seats and a cosy vibe. Although I gotta be honest, it filled up quickly when the food started coming out. So, if you're looking for a quiet spot, maybe this is not the best bet. Oh, and it's not too far from Lavender MRT Station or Nicoll Highway MRT Station!

Okay, let's get to the good stuff—the food! First up, the Classy Carbonara (S$18.90). The dish had this creamy sauce with egg yolks, Grana Padano cheese, tender smoked duck, and a sous vide egg. The chilli gave it a nice kick, balancing out the creaminess. And that smoked duck was amazing! The smoky flavour mixed with the creamy sauce made it a match made in food heaven.

Tipo Pasta Bar has got this Build Your Own Pasta thing going on. You pay around S$9.90, and you get to pick your pasta, sauce, and extras.

My date got the Presto Pesto (S$20.90). This one had pesto, smoked salmon, and caramelized cherry tomatoes. The flavours were a total party in my mouth—the nutty pesto, the smoky salmon, and those sweet tomatoes. It was a flavour explosion.

Tipo Pasta Bar is the real deal. The portions were not huge but the pasta really filled me up. I'd say it's a great spot for special occasions or hanging out with friends and family. Oh, and did I mention I went there on a date? Yep, it's got that date-night vibe too. So, if you're up for trying some seriously good pasta, Tipo Pasta Bar is waiting to wow you!
