Lecker Hotdog Review: Retro Diner With Cheap Hotdogs @ ARC 380

Hey, Faithfuls! Soooooo, there’s a new dining spot in Jalan Besar for me! Located inside ARC 380, it’s the same building where you’ll find Prince Noodles, my go-to ban mian spot, and conveniently near my BFT studio! Lecker Hotdog brings retro diner vibes to the industrial area with its bold red cushioned chairs, retro-inspired posters, and a clean, welcoming environment.

It feels slightly out of place but definitely eye-catching!

Lecker Hotdog offers eight varieties of hotdogs, each generously loaded with toppings. Prices start at just S$4.80 for an a la carte hotdog, making it very wallet-friendly. If you’re feeling peckish, upgrade to a combo—add S$1.80 for a drink or S$3.10 for both a drink and a side. Sides include classics like corn cups, popcorn chicken, and onion rings.

The Classic American Hotdog is the most affordable at S$4.80. It features a soft bun and a regular hotdog slathered with ketchup, mayo, and mustard and topped with pickle slices. It’s hearty, satisfying, and definitely more substantial than your average hotdog.

Beyond hotdogs, Lecker also serves burgers, such as their Premium Angus Beef Burger (S$6.90), which is worth mentioning. The patty is juicy, smoky, and perfectly grilled, paired with fresh vegetables, melted cheese, and a soft bun. It’s restaurant-level quality at a casual diner price—I enjoyed it so much that I went back for it again the next day.

While the diner is usually quiet during dinner hours, I imagine it gets busier at lunch. The food here is not only delicious but also affordable, with a good variety of options to choose from. The staff even provide gloves for takeaway orders to keep things mess-free, which is a thoughtful touch!
