R&F Princess Cove Review: Luxury Airbnb @ Johor Bahru
With its modern contemporary interiors, it's all about sleek vibes and comfy spaces. We booked our two-night stay through our host, Angela, for S$288.70. Each of us got our own room, which meant we got a lot of personal space!
Thanks to the self-check-in system, check-in was a breeze— well, almost. We did opt for early check-in, but we had a bit of a situation with a couple lounging around in the apartment. I'm not sure if they were the cleaners or the owners, and it was a little weird that they were taking their sweet time when guests were moving in. We flagged this to our host after the stay.
The house was massive, boasting four bedrooms. Bedroom 1 features two single beds, Bedroom 2 has one queen bed and two single beds, Bedroom 3 also has one queen bed and two single beds, while Bedroom 4 offers one queen bed and one single bed.
I claimed Bedroom 2 as my own, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. Not only was it the largest room, but it also came with a baby cot. Most of my colleagues were a bit spooked by the cot, but I happily took it. The room also treated me to a breathtaking view of the sea. Plus, the marble bathroom was also as spacious and luxurious, complete with a shower and a bathtub! All the essentials like towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided, and there was even a bidet in the toilet.
The kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans, oil, salt, and pepper, bowls, chopsticks, plates, and cups. Additionally, a kettle, fridge, and freezer were available, although we didn't use them. A BBQ grill was also available for those interested.
A washing machine was provided, although guests needed to bring their own detergent. There was also a dryer located on the balcony just outside the living room.
Moving on to the living room, it featured a spacious dining area, a cosy sitting area with a TV, a selfie light, and even a mahjong table! I also liked how the WiFi connection was fast and reliable. After all, it was a work trip and good WiFi was important, especially in Malaysia.
Overall, our stay was pleasant. I particularly appreciated the location, as it was strategically situated in the heart of Johor Bahru. The suite was surrounded by an abundance of amenities, including access to the CIQ link bridge, shopping malls, entertainment options, and government offices. R&F Mall, in particular, stood out. It houses almost 106 retail stores, 46 of which are F&B outlets, making shopping and food hunting incredibly convenient.
Security here is also pretty tight. You need an access card to enter the building, and there's always a guard at the main entrance. I recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to JB! Thanks for reading, and see you next post!
