GOPIZZA @ Lau Pa Sat: Korean Fast-Food Pizza Food Review

by - October 07, 2021

Hey friends, thanks for coming back to read another blog post! Today I will be reviewing this really cute pizza place called GOPIZZA, which is a fast-food restaurant from Korea. I actually first heard about them on this Korean reality show called Sixth Sense, and it's a really cute show where the cast has to guess which featured restaurants are fake, and which are real.

GOPIZZA has numerous stalls in Singapore but the one we visited was at Lau Pa Sat. We chanced by GOPIZZA because my boyfriend and I were having a staycation nearby and were out hunting for food. Since we heard about the restaurant before, we decided to give it a try.

The personal pizzas are also known to taste good, be affordable, and be served real quick!

We ordered the Duo Package (S$25.80) which came with two pizzas, two sides, and two drinks of our choice. We chose the Pepperoni Pizza (UP S$9.90) and the Hawaiian Pizza (UP S$8.90). The pizzas took about five minutes to arrive, and they were piping hot!

The Pepperoni Pizza was our favourite - you wouldn't have guessed that this was fast-food pizza because the crust was crunchy and did not feel frozen. The pepperoni slices were big and savoury, and the cheese came in a generous amount. Honestly, this tasted so much better than a 7-Eleven pizza.

The Hawaiian Pizza was also delicious, but the crust was a little lacking. It had a bit of an undercooked taste and there could have been a little more pineapples. There was a lot of cheese, which I was grateful for! Most importantly, both pizzas had a portion that was perfect for one person.

Our sides were two pieces of Cheese Sticks and Wedge Fries. The Cheese Sticks were really delicious but I wish there were more than two pieces. I loved the cheese pull as well.

The Wedge Fries were thick and crispy and honesty very filling. If you want to finish your pizzas, it's not a good idea to devour all the Wedge Fries first!

We also ordered two kinds of pasta - the Tomato Pasta (S$8.90) and Carbonara Pasta (S$8.90). I thought the Tomato Pasta was great and the sauce was very savoury, but my boyfriend thought it was mediocre. We both agreed that the spaghetti was undercooked, but the sauce definitely made up for it.

The Carbonara Pasta was also not bad and it was relatively creamy. The flavours were a little more muted than I would have liked, but it was decent. Portions for both pastas were alright too.

For drinks, we had the Milkis Original and Milkis Melon which came with the Duo Package. I preferred the original to the melon flavoured one as the latter tasted a bit like Mountain Dew which I'm not a fan of.

We actually couldn't finish our pasta and had to tapao them, and I was really glad we did because we got to take the food away in these boxes with Lee Dong Wook's face on it. I am a huge fan of Lee Dong Wook so I didn't mind paying the extra S$0.50 for the takeaway box!

My boyfriend and I were really happy with our experience at GOPIZZA. The food was good and relatively affordable too. There are many other outlets in Singapore including one at Yishun, one at Tampines, and another at Paya Lebar, so there are many opportunities for people to try their pizzas! If you're craving pasta and are looking for something just for one person, GOPIZZA is a great option. They are also available on delivery platforms such as foodpanda
