Best Hair Treatment Products In Singapore Review
I don't like going to salons to get my hair treated because it usually costs a lot, and it's just a one-time thing. I usually like to buy hair treatment products from places like NTUC or Shopee, and I tend to find them more useful as you can keep using them over longer periods of time!
Today's I'll be doing a review on the 5 best hair treatment products in Singapore that I've used, which are Moist Diane, Shiseido, Silkpro, Kao, and Joico. I'll also be giving ratings of these hair treatments along with the reviews, but do take note that these are my subjective and potentially biased opinions!
1. Kao Singapore Essential Nourishing Breakage Defense Treatment - an affordable and effective option ($6.50)
I wasn't very confident about the Essential Hair Treatment when I first bought it, mainly because I've never heard of people using it before, and the price was the cheapest out of the rest. It's actually a Taiwan brand, and it's meant to prevent hair breakage and repair damaged hair.
I know - very guai lan right, want to buy cheap products yet I don't trust them.
Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised when I used the hair treatment because the product was really thick and manageable, and it made my hair really smooth in just seconds. The main advantage of the Essential Hair Treatment is that you only need to apply it on your hair for 30 seconds, and it'll start to take effect.
The Essential Hair Treatment may not be the most popular product out there, but it is definitely one of the best I've used. I never get disappointed, and it ALWAYS leaves my hair smooth and silky. It's also not oily at all.
So the moral of the story is - don't judge a hair treatment by it's cover!

2. Silkpro Scalp Care Expert Treatment Conditioner - a hair conditioner and hair mask ($6.90)
My boyfriend was actually the one who bought this, and it came as a free product together with a Silkpro shampoo. He gave the Silkpro Scalp Care Expert Treatment Conditioner to me because he knew I needed it, but after hearing the praises I had for this product, he started using it as well.
The Silkpro Scalp Care Expert Treatment Conditioner is a hair conditioner and a hair mask, and does a good job on both your hair and your scalp. You can either use it at a 3-minute conditioner or 20-minute mask.
Some people say that you shouldn't put conditioner or treatment on your scalp because it can make it oily, but this hair treatment feels alright. I have really bad split ends as well, and I felt like the Silkpro Scalp Care Expert Treatment Conditioner managed to tame my stubborn split ends.
This product doesn't have an immediate WOW effect like the Essential Hair Treatment, but it does show results after a few more tries.

3. Joico K-Pak Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor For Damaged Hair - quality attas hair treatment for dry hair ($28)
The Joico K-Pak Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor For Damaged Hair is a little harsh on the pockets, but it's quite a good buy. My hairdresser was the one who recommended this to me after I got my hair bleached.
This product is actually alright, but you need to leave it on for 10 minutes. Unlike the rest of the products on this list, this one smells the best and is really fragrant. But on the other hand, it's also really oily.
If your hair is very dry, you can give the Joico K-Pak Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor a go. I feel like it works - but it takes quite long to leave on and the results take some time to show. The price point is also quite high, so I only recommend this if you just want to try a new brand, or want your hair to smell fragrant throughout the day!

4. Moist Diane Extra Damage Repair Hair Mask - credible Japanese brand for bleached and permed hair ($18.90)
Moist Diane has always been a popular brand because their hair products are often very effective. I've actually tried Moist Diane shampoo before and I love the way it makes my hair feel so soft and light. Also, my boyfriend's mom was the one who gave me this Moist Diane Extra Damage Repair Hair Mask to me because she realised that my hair was ALWAYS dropping all over the floor in my boyfriend's room. LOL.
I generally trust Japanese hair products because the quality is tok kong. The good thing about the Moist Diane Extra Damage Repair Hair Mask is that it treats permed and bleached hair, and offers colour protection. Since my hair is bleached, permed, and dyed, this obviously suited me well.
I don't like this Moist Diane hair mask as much as I like their shampoos, but the product wasn't bad at all. However, you'll need to apply quite a generous amount of product on your hair for it to take effect because it doesn't seem to really absorb into the hair easily. Maybe it's just me, but that was my experience.

5. Shiseido Professional Airy Flow Refiner For Unruly Hair - highest quality Japanese hair treatment with fast and effective results (from $43.80)
My mom has always been a big fan of Shiseido, and she's let me try some of her Shiseido hair products a few times. Shiseido products can be quite expensive and they're not as easily available compared to other brands, but they're really, really worth it.
Out of the 5 items on this list, this works the best. The Shiseido Professional Airy Flow Refiner For Unruly Hair helps to make your hair smoother, shinier, and more refined - and you don't need to apply it everyday. The refiner is also a leave-in treatment, which means you don't have to wash it away, and I love how it makes my hair so much more manageable.
Honestly, I can't ask for a better product. The Shiseido Professional Airy Flow Refiner is just so easy to use, easy to apply, and it works instantly. It's expensive, I know, but seriously - it's the best. If your hair is really very badly damaged, I highly recommend this magical product!

Depending on how badly damaged your hair is and how much you're willing to spend, there's always a hair treatment out there for you! These 5 hair treatment products have all been tried and tested by me, and I can honestly say that they all work, perhaps some better than the rest. If you can't decide on which hair treatment you want, you can even try out a few before settling for the best one.
